It's been about a year since I officially started Bibi Booth and somehow I feel like I'm just getting started. Over the past year, I've launched bibibooth.com, upgraded my booth twice, met some amazing new clients, and learned how to carry a lighting kit, full booth, and props up and down a fourth floor walkup.
Despite some stresses, my favorite part of the journey thus far has been realizing it is a process and I'm never done making my clients happier or learning from each booth. There will always be irrational wishes both from me and from prospective clients and sometimes the hardest part of this job is learning how to compromise, and sometimes even say no. I hate saying no.
One comment I heard echoed by several booth clients and guests; they wanted to be able to print the photos after reviewing them on my site. Due to the limitations of my site host, (I am not the first to grumble about this), I was unable to partner with a print vendor directly. This feature has been my top priority and I'm now in the process of partnering with Zenfolio and their printing vendors which will allow you to print past and future booth shots. Like everything else, it's a learning process and a work in progress but I'm hoping to have this up and running soon. It's about time.
